The New Zealand Institute of Travel & Tourism Inc is now in its 40th Year !

NZITT is a membership organisation for individuals in the travel, tourism  and hospitality industries who have gained nationally recognised qualifications. Student membership is available for those studying for New Zealand national qualifications. Membership of companies and organisations aligned to the industry is also welcome in the category of Allied Partner.

The Institute works in close association with The Travel Agents' Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) and the ITO - the Aviation Travel and Tourism Training Organisation  in identifying upskill needs and relevant training available for personal development.

Membership of NZITT is a recognition of professional achievement, and from a consumer viewpoint the member is regarded as competent and professional.

BORDER CONTROL USA (US Embassy/TAANZ/NZITT) is presented by Emily King, Consular Officer, US Embassy Auckland and covers the new documentation requirements for entry to the USA. A most informative all-questions-answered presentation which attracted 81 travel agents to the Wellington session.

NEW COUNCIL ELECTED

At the 40th Annual General Meeting held in Auckland on Tuesday 2 September a new Council was elected. Their names and biographical notes can be viewed via the 'About NZITT' menu in the left sidebar.
