... ATTTO and NZITT collaborate to meet training and qualification needs

ATTTO (the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation) and NZITT (the New Zealand Institute of Travel and Tourism) have formally agreed to work together in meeting the training and qualification needs of NZITT Members.

In recognition of the synergies between the two organisations, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed which outlines their commitment to identify, provide and support training and development opportunities for the sectors.

2008 Seminars A Great Success ...

305 industry professionals attended the series of topical seminars offered  by NZITT in association with the Travel Agents' Association during August September and October in AKL WLG CHC and ZQN. The subject: Border Control USA addressed the new electronic application processes for the Visitor Waiver Programme, and was presented by Emily King, Vice Consul, US Consulate General, Auckland. uestion and answers from the presentations as well as documentation discussed is available at:

In addition 'sampler seminars' covering units in the national Certificate in Business - First Line Management were presented in AKL WLG and CHC.
